Product
at-design conceived the SIMOTICS S-1FK2 servomotor for Siemens AG. The aim was to develop an Industrial Design for the family of motors that would meet the requirements of all 6 axle heights. A clear basic architecture in the design, the inclusive integration of all functional components and the technical outlining of the servomotors towards the length of the axle were the premises of the Industrial Design drawn up by at-design.

The result was a perfect symbiosis in appearance between the construction requirements and the Industrial Design, which guarantees high design quality and longevity in an industrial environment.

Product
The SINAMICS S210 Servo drive system is made up of a multitude of slots, an interface in the upper section and a cooling jacket. The Industrial Design of the SINAMICS S210 developed by at-design creates a clear structure and hierarchy for the instrument functions. The interface is superordinate, but hides subordinate information and interfaces with its transparent black cover.

at-design’s aim was to achieve longevity and quality in a tough industrial environment through the use of a precise and logical Industrial Design.

The SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels PRO with all-round IP65 protection can be used in extremely harsh and hostile environments. The support arm system offers a variety of machine-oriented mounting options. The aspiration of at-design in designing this was based on the conviction that the support arm system and the panel housings should be regarded as a unit. Characteristic of the Industrial Design is the clear, robust design of the support arm system, which includes the rear housing, in combination with a precise, ultra-modern finish on the front.

The uncompromising Industrial Design has made it possible to combine the multitude of mounting options and panel sizes into a common language of form.

Product
The SIMATIC HMI Mobile Panel 2nd Generation device family was designed by at-design for Siemens AG. Thanks to the clear, logical Industrial Design by at-design, IP and fall protection requirements (fall from a height of 1.20 m) are integrated into the form of the housing concept, while at the same time ensuring the best possible ergonomics. The interface with the 16:9 display is superior to the peripheral equipment. In addition, the Industrial Design is uncompromisingly transferable to 3 device sizes.

Fall protection is achieved through the shock-absorbing interlocking of the upper and lower shells, among other things. This feature was transferred to the housing in terms of design and formed the basis for a kinetically effective Industrial Design.

Product
at-design formulated the Industrial Design of the SIMATIC S7-1500 for Siemens AG. All of the modules, including the central, signal, technology and communication modules, are united by the Industrial Design in one product language. A superordinate housing design establishes the architecture in the product family. Functional elements, such as hinges and ventilation holes, as well as display and control elements are integral components of the housing architecture of at-design.

Precise and logical aesthetics in the Industrial Design, as well as the elaboration of even the smallest details, made it possible to produce a complete solution for the SIMATIC S7-1500.
